Founded in 1365 Universität Wien (University of Vienna) is the oldest University in the modern German-speaking world and the largest research institution in Austria. It is home to more than 94,000 students – 28,000 international students among them. UW is particularly renowned for its strength in the Humanities, Arts, and Mathematics, and is currently associated with 16 Nobel Prize winners.
