Education Beyond Borders is offering funding of £250-500 to University staff and student groups or who plan to organise an event during Refugee Week. Refugee Week will take place from 16 -22 June 2025. This year's theme is 'Community as a Superpower'. Event inspiration Events could include: film screenings, exhibitions, panel sessions, arts and craft sessions, community meals, storytelling events or seminars You can find out more information and download the pack to help with event creation on the Refugee Week website. Who can apply for the funding To apply, you must be a University of Edinburgh student or staff member You can apply as an individual or as part of a group to create events You should be linked to a University department or society Your event must take place in Edinburgh. If you do not meet the above criteria, please email us and we can discuss facilitating your event via Education Beyond Borders. Other support for your event We can also support you with event communications and finding rooms to host your event across the University campus.
