Hochschule für Technik, Stuttgart

The Hochschule für Technik was founded in 1832 as a winter school for building craftsmen on the lower Königstrasse opposite the King's stables at the time. The university grew continuously and developed from the original engineering school to the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences in 1971.

For almost 200 years, the university has been training students in what are now 33 bachelor's and master's degree courses.
