Ƶoffers students the opportunity to study abroad in Europe and beyond. We have around 300 student exchange partners in nearly 40 countries worldwide.

Not all institutions will be suitable for students on all degree programmes. It is your responsibility to consider the pros and cons of possibly host countries and institutions for your own personal situation.  You must also identify an appropriate programme of study at a potential exchange destination and to ensure that appropriate courses are available.

  • Studying abroad at an institution with which the University of Edinburgh does not have a formal exchange agreement is not permitted.
  • New exchange agreements cannot be created for individual students, and students are not permitted to create exchange agreements themselves.
