Kanazawa College of Art

Kanazawa College of Art offers a dynamic exchange program for incoming international students, particularly those interested in jewellery design and textiles. The program allows students to immerse themselves in a creative and culturally-rich environment. Having recently relocated to a new purpose-built campus in 2023, Kanazawa College of Art boasts state-of-the-art facilities that support a wide variety of artistic disciplines, fostering academic, professional and personal growth.

Kanazawa is the capital city of Ishikawa Prefecture, which is situated on the west coast of Japan. The region is known not only for its traditional craft industry but also for embracing modern art. Among Kanazawa’s numerous galleries and within easy access from campus is the highly-praised 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.

Kanazawa College of Art is referred to locally as both Bidai and Kanabi, terms that come from its name in Japanese.
