Conservatorio Di Musica Niccolò Paganini

The history of the "Niccolò Paganini" Music Institute, now the State Conservatory of Music/Institute of Higher Musical Education, began more than 187 years ago, with the announcement in the "Gazzetta di Genova" on 12 December 1829 that a free singing school would begin operating on 2 January of the following year.

This institute is named after the famous Italian Violinist Niccolo Paganini, born in the city of Genova and one of the most famous Violin virtuoso of his time.
