The Università di Bologna is one of the oldest universities in the Western world. SInce its foundation in 1088, it has paved the way for innovation thanks to an increasingly rich programme catalogue, cutting-edge research, a convincing third mission strategy and a growing international perspective.

Today, Bologna is one of Italy's largest universities, with more than 90,000 students and within the top five universities in Europe in terms of number of exchange students. Its campuses are divided between Bologna and the small city of Cesena, although most of our students are normally located in the heart of Emilia Romagna's main city.

  • Chemistry
  • Chemical Engineering
    • For MEng Chemical Engineering and MEng Chemical Engineering with Management students (5th year only) undertaking their Chemical Engineering Industrial Project.
  • History, Classics and Archaeology
    • This partner is suitable for joint honours History and Politics students
  • Italian
    • This partner is suitable for joint honours Italian and Politics students

For Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and History, Classics, and Archaeology: Teaching is available in English. Students should be able to take a full course load in English at this institution.  

Italian students are expected to study entirely in Italian at this institution.
