The University of Milan, founded in 1924, is the largest higher education institution in the region of Lombardy. About 5,000 international degree-seeking students and 1,000 exchange students come every year, making the University a vibrant multicultural environment. The main campus is based in one of the most fascinating Renaissance buildings in Milan, the so called “Ca’ Granda”, located in the centre of the city.
